Actually I also have played around with the many commands from the mpd including the mpdboot. At the moment there is still no success yet. I hope I am not yet give up to test your program. If you come across to have any suggestion, please advise.

I've looked and not found a solution yet. I think this is an MPI problem, and unfortunately i'm not an expert on MPI. I'll let you know if i have any more suggestions, for the moment i would recommend just running high temperature MC. That is usually quite efficient as well.
